Privacy Policy

Bundly ”the App” provides an ability to create Bundles to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account: orders, products and themes.

When you use the App’s admin, our server logs record data including your IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps, which we use for security and to operate the App. We also collect usage analytics, including recordings of your sessions in the App, identified by your store’s domain and contact email. To provide in-app support, we share your name, email address, store domain, and subscription details with our support platform so that we can respond to you.

Storefront Analytics

When your customers interact with bundles on your storefront, the App collects analytics events through a Shopify web pixel. For each event we store: a visitor identifier assigned by Shopify, the page path, the date and time of the event, and details of the bundle and the products involved, such as product IDs, titles, and quantities. When storefront analytics is enabled, your customers’ browsers send these events to our servers, and our server logs record the IP address and browser type of those requests. We do not store your customers’ names, email addresses, shipping addresses, or payment information, and we do not set cookies in your customers’ browsers. The web pixel respects your customers’ consent choices for analytics, as managed through Shopify’s Customer Privacy API, and we do not sell customer data.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information relating to our products or services.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers that help us operate the App: DigitalOcean (hosting and backups), AppSignal (performance monitoring and logging), Rollbar (error tracking), PostHog (product analytics), and Help Scout (customer support). These providers process this information on our behalf.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Do Not Track

Please note that we do not alter our App’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Your Rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the App), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data Retention

When you subscribe to the App, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Storefront analytics are available in the App for the most recent 7 days, or up to 365 days if your subscription includes extended analytics. We periodically remove older events from active systems. Deleted data may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until those backups are rotated. When you uninstall the App, we delete the analytics events and Order Information associated with your store.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
